Frisco: Gas line rupture forces road closure, not a threat to surrounding homes
From Staff Reports
Because of a gas line rupture this afternoon, North County Road is temporarily closed to traffic from McKinney Road north to Maple.
No homes are other buildings are threatened by the gas leak at this time, and no residents have been evacuated.
A work crew digging underground accidentally cut the four inch line at approximately 12:48 p.m. Frisco Fire personnel expect North County Road will remain closed to traffic past the end of the school day while the gas line is being capped.
