10-4A FOOTBALL STANDINGS
Quick look: All the drama surrounding the 10-4A playoff race was resolved on Thursday with Forney's victory over Carrollton Newman Smith.
The Jackrabbits claimed the second seed in Division II bracket and will face Prosper on Thursday at 7 p.m. at Allen's Eagle Stadium.
That result split West Mesquite and Poteet into different brackets, rendering the result of their clash on Friday as a non-factor as far as the postseason is concerned.
The Wranglers prevailed, claiming sole possession of second place in 10-4A, but they will still be the second seed in the Division I bracket, facing Frisco Centennial on Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Kimbrough Stadium.
Poteet, the top seed in Division II, will take on Little Elm on Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Standridge Stadium.
District champion Highland Park will face Frisco on Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Apogee Stadium.
