Cathryn 'Pota' Murphy
Cathryn "Pota" Murphy, 72, of Lewisville, passed away Friday, December 28, 2012, in Lewisville.
She was born November 18, 1940, in Greenwood, South Carolina, to Charles M. Trakas and Pota Parthemos Trakas.
Cathryn married Bob Murphy on December 13, 1979 in Dallas.
She is survived by her husband, Bob; children, Tonja Harris, Tamara Hawkins, Troy Roberts and his wife, Jennifer and Tony Murphy; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and sister, Elaine Jameson.
Funeral service was held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 2, 2012, at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville. Interment followed at Flower Mound Cemetery. The family received friends from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
